Press Release:

Zombies have been sighted once again in the community by Audubon Park Garden District’s (APGD) Director.

“No matter what we seem to do, they keep coming back,” Kat Quast said. “Zom-B-gone helped keep them at bay for a good eight months, but now a new breed seems to be immune to that repellent.” The question to be answered was, “Where did they come from?” The current theory at the moment is that Princeton East Elementary School’s arrival at the old Audubon Park Elementary grounds woke the dead from what once was an old cemetery.

“The answer was there all along,” Quast said. “Who really thought it was just Zoo Poo fertilizer that made the community garden grow so well?” Quast has gathered the information from zombie sympathizers that the next invasion is planned for 6PM on Saturday, October 1, 2011. This time, these educated zombies have bigger plans, hoping to take over a chunk of Corrine Drive as their own. APGD has set Zombietoberfest for that date after deciding that if this is really the start of the Zombie Apocalypse, we should welcome it with open arms and party until midnight. This festival will include a Zombie Walk, Human vs. Zombie Tag, Face-Painters, Food and Horror-themed Vendors, Costume Contests, a Graveyard Theater, Horror-themed Art Shows, A Boatload of Bands, Buckets of Beer, a DJ-spun Dance Party, and more.
