Volunteer

Want to help out? There are lots of ways to get involved whether you have time, knowledge, money, or extra items to donate.

One of the best ways of getting involved is by becoming a member. We offer several levels of membership priced to fit your budget. We are a non-profit organization operating on a very tight budget, and most of our work is done by volunteers. We can always use more members.

Not interested right now in becoming a member but still want to have some input in the community? That’s OK, too. If you have particular skills or knowledge you think would be helpful or you’re simply a willing soul, we are constantly on the lookout for volunteers for our board and committees.

If you have any extra time that you would be willing to give, there are many volunteer opportunities. We hold events, from clean-up days to festivals, throughout the year and can always use more help. You could also check our wish list on the donate page to see if you might have any of the items on the list sitting around unused.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering in your community is a great way to get outdoors and meet your neighbors, all while making the neighborhood more beautiful. APGD could always use an extra hand in planning, setting up, and running events; a bright mind with ideas and desires to see the community flourish; or a generous donation.
