Welcome to Audubon ParkEstablished in 2008, the Audubon Park Garden District was formed to highlight the events, businesses and residents that make Audubon Park one of Orlando's great neighborhoods. A unique and funky neighborhood just north of downtown Orlando, Audubon Park hosts an intriguing mix of singular shops, fabulous restaurants, and friendly, locally owned businesses, all within walking distance of beautiful Leu Gardens. In 2009 the Audubon Park Garden District was admitted into the National Historic Trust’s Main Street program. Throughout the coming months and years, our neighborhood's residents and businesses will be working together to transform our historic community into a beautiful, green place to live, work, and play. Audubon Park News The Garden District welcomes the Blue Bird Bake ShopAugust 30, 2010This month the District welcomed its newest neighbor as the Bllue Bird Bake Shop moved into Audubon Park, just east of Corrine and Old Winter Park Road. APGD's Kat Quast named "Best community organizer" for 2010 by the Orlando WeeklyJul 10, 2010In their round up of the Best in Orlando for 2010, the team at the Orlando Weekly named APGD executive director Kat Quast the "Best community organizer." "Thanks to Quast’s efforts, the area is thriving, both as a destination and as a livable and vibrant community," says the Weekly. All of us at APGD couldn't agree more.
