Bastille Day 2012
Wine. Music. Swordplay. Revolution is Back and Better Than Ever.
ORLANDO, FL–Bastille Day is back in the Audubon Park Garden District. July 14, from six to ten p.m., the Audubon Park Garden District is once again celebrating the French Revolution with live music, French food, wine and cheese tasting, a French-themed pet costume contest, fencing demonstrations, and an open air market.
The event is free, except for the wine and cheese tasting which is $25.
Beginning at six p.m., patrons will be able to sample and learn about artisan cheese, French wine and Belgian beer from local experts. Advance tickets are $25 per person. Tickets at the door will be $35.
Pet Parade Costume Contest is returning for 2012. Free to all, this event will offer prizes for Best French-Themed Pet Costume, Best Owner/Pet Duo French Costumes, and Most Original French Pet Costume. Pet Parade Costume Contest starts at seven p.m. in front of Bikes, Beans and Bordeaux at 3022 Corrine Drive.
Free to all live music, fencing demonstrations, open air market, and French wine will be available to patrons throughout the festival, from six to ten p.m. The evening’s festivities will take place in the Garden District’s East Plaza, centered on Bikes, Beans and Bordeaux, at 3022 Corrine Drive, Orlando, 32803.
